Master Grant A. Miller

 

Grant A. Miller holds a doctorate in Asian history, and is an adjunct professor at Penn State University. He runs a small business specializing in business data, analytics and business intelligence.

He began his studies of the martial arts at age 9, with his first discipline the eagle claw style of kung fu. He has also spent time studying and earning ranks in the arts of Tang So Do, Isshinryu, Jujutsu, Judo, Aikido, Hapkido and Shotokan karate.

He spent a year studying at a University in Japan, as well as a summer semester at a University in China. He is fluent in Japanese and has varying degrees of proficiency in Cantonese, French, German and Yiddish.

He has written four books on the martial arts,  and was a contributing author on two books on Microsoft Server technologies.
